These fees are determined by
the ORI number found on the Request for
Live Scan Form.
*The Contributing Agency identified on the “Request for Live
Scan” application has specified the “Level of Service” for your
background check. The Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI, CA Child
Abuse Index and Dept. of Social Services fees that are required for
some applicants are NON-NEGOTIABLE. Level-of-Service fees are
set by the respective agencies, NOT by California Fingerprinting Authority.
These fees are
identified by the Department of Justice system when we input the
data from your “Request for Live Scan Service” application. This is
dictated by DOJ,FBI. The Live Scan Operators CAN NOT
change this requirement. These fees will be paid prior to being
fingerprinted. If you do not pay the required fees, or dispute the
amount of the fees, your record will be purged and you will not be
fingerprinted or charged
